DOWNHILL DINERS

Downhill Diners is a monthly club meeting whereby we get to sample the finest in Dallas / Fort Worth eating establishments. These can range from upscale French restaurants to down-home barbeque.

Larry Fellman is our resident maitre d', and does a delightful job of reviewing and recommending the choices, but we are always open to members' suggestions!

Downhill Diner Event, Wednesday, August 18

We will return to the Park City Club, in Dallas's Preston Center, for a French Bistro buffet with a "vu" on Wednesday the 18th. Will gather in a private room at 6:30 pm for our own cash bar (wine, $7; beer, $6) and then at our leisure proceed to the multi-station buffet. More details on menu later. This has always been a popular event so please make your reservation early by sending your check to me at the address below: Early bird price is $22.50 per person for checks received by July 31; thereafter, $25. Deadline for reservations is August 11. Coats and ties are not required of gentlemen for this event but business casual is OK, any denim will immediately bring out the fashion Nazis. Women always seem to know what to wear from these instructions. This is a good occasion to share tales of your summer adventures and begin to formulate plans for the ski season.
