DOWNHILL DINERS

Downhill Diners is a monthly club meeting whereby we get to sample the finest in Dallas / Fort Worth eating establishments. These can range from upscale French restaurants to down-home barbeque.

Larry Fellman is our resident maitre d', and does a delightful job of reviewing and recommending the choices, but we are always open to members' suggestions!

Wednesday Night Buffet at the Park City Club

Buffet Style: Southwestern cuisine theme featuring stuffed Chile rellenos; shrimp and scallop enchiladas, pecan crusted breast of chicken with avocado grapefruit salsa among other entrees,+ the multi-item salad bar + the "give me one of those, too" dessert station.

Place: the Park City Club on the 17th floor of the Banc Texas building at 5956 Sherry Lane, Dallas, TX 75225, located south of Northwest Highway between Douglas Avenue and the Tollway in Preston Center, free parking in the building garage; our group will be in the a private room.

Price: $22.50 per person, all inclusive for the meal; $6.00 per glass wine at our cash bar--please bring small bills.

Dress: Gentlemen, neither coats nor ties required, but long pants, collared shirts, socks, and leather shoes are. Ladies, you get the picture.

Time: Wednesday, August 27. Our bar will be open at 6:00 p.m and, of course, you'll want to schmooze awhile before eating. We need to go to the buffet in small groups so as not to overwhelm the servers. We should all be finished by 9:00.
